HMB Endeavour Arrives in Geelong

There’s a lot more than just Orlando Bloom that we love about Pirates of the Carribean, and a big part is seeing the older ships in action. If you’re a fan of the latter like we are, then you’ll be loving the chance to see the HM Bark Endeavour, the Australian-built James Cook replica hailed as being almost as good as the real deal, when it comes to Geelong.

The ship will sail into the bay on Friday, February 5 and will remain there until Tuesday, February 9. While in port, the ship serves as a floating museum, with half eaten meals, a diary for you to peek in and more. Endeavour will be open to the public from 10am – 4.30pm Saturday 6 February to Monday 8 February (last entry 4pm). Tickets $12 adults, $8 children/concessions, $30 families (2 adults + 3 children).

For those who want an even more authentic experience than just jumping on board, the Endeavour will make a voyage from Sydney to Geelong (January 28 – February 5) and from Geelong to Adelaide (February 9-19) where they will take 40 paying members along for the experience.
