Live music is hitting Lorne next weekend for the ALWAYS LIVE pop-up roadtrip

After a blazing kick-off in Ballarat last weekend, ALWAYS LIVE is turning up the volume once again—this time along the iconic Great Ocean Road! The charming surf town of Lorne has been chosen as the next stop in the Victorian Vibes adventure, the free regional live music series that’s spreading spontaneous joy right across the state.

Ballarat’s sunny streets set the perfect stage for the series’ debut on Saturday, drawing thousands of fans to discover music in unexpected corners of the city. Dan Sultan, Blusher, Hope D, and local rising stars Apples delivered unforgettable performances, transforming the CBD into one big, pulsing celebration of sound.

Next up: Lorne, baby! The free pop-up event hits the town on Saturday 2 May. True to Victorian Vibes form, artists will be revealed in the lead-up via ALWAYS LIVE’s digital channels (or watch this space!). Meanwhile, local cafes, pubs, and venues will transform the town into a buzzing festival playground. Nestled on Victoria’s stunning surf coast, Lorne is a natural fit for Victorian Vibes—a town that lives and breathes music and the previous home of Falls Festival. Expect another can’t-miss day where streets, waves, and stages all pulse to the same beat.

Victorian Vibes continues every second weekend through to mid-June, with upcoming stops across Gippsland, the Bellarine, Goldfields, Murray, and Geelong regions.
