Alice Ivy Returns to Geelong

In celebration of her new track ‘Almost Here’, Alice Ivy, real name Annika Schmarsel, will pay a visit to Geelong’s Workers Club this Saturday night, July 9.

The Melbourne­ based electro­ soul artist recently enjoyed a maiden performance at Piano’s in New York City, while support spots with the likes of Remi, Banoffee and Urthboy have only added to her already bubbly reputation.

‘Almost Here’ is Ivy’s follow­ up single to ‘Touch’, which features Georgia Van Etten and earned The AU Review’s ‘Single of the Day’. This time around she has brought hip hop collective RaRa aboard for the “horn­ filled” affair.

She’ll be joined at the show by Canary and Andrew Kentish.
