William Crighton and Claire Anne Taylor team Up

It’s one of the best two for one deals you’re likely to come across, with William Crighton and Claire Anne Taylor set to perform a handful of shows together in support of their debut albums.

Rich with folk rock sensibility and recorded in a house on the banks of Burrinjuck Dam, Crighton’s self titled effort features the songman’s wife, Jules, on backing vocals and brother, Luke, on bass. It is an album where songs carry thousands of kilometres.

Soulful folk artist Claire Anne Taylor grew up in Tasmania’s ancient Tarkine rainforest. A winner of the Byron Bluesfest Busking Competition, the songbird relocated to the area in order to release Elemental. The Bridge Hotel, Castlemaine – July 30.
