Saturday 25 October

For the lovers of rock and/or roll, Saturday at Harvest Rock lives up to its name – rock music is dominant and with the best selection of artists who have shaped the genre. Starting from the top with an exclusive show from New York City juggernauts, Julian Casablanas, Albert Hammond Jr, Nick Valensi, Nikolai Fraiture, and Fabrizio Moretti, better known as The Strokes. From their 2001 gamechanging debut Is This It to 2003’s Room On Fire and 2006’s First Impressions of Earth, The Strokes defined the uprising of indie rock and were integral in the New York scene of the early 2000’s. Indie sleaze was in full swing and The Strokes were the definition of cool. The band have continued a strong career with 2020’s The New Abnormal adding to their rock domination.

The are joined by an exclusive performance from The War On Drugs. A product of Philadelphia, The War On Drugs are known for their gripping sonic swirls, transportive tunes and effortless coolness. From ‘Red Eyes’ to ‘Holding On’ and ‘I Don’t Live Here Anymore’, the band have a loyal following that has grown across their five albums.

Australian artists build the lineup thereafter including a huge return from Vance Joy, the jangly joy of Lime Cordiale, and a huge appearance from psychedelic rockers Wolfmother who are playing their debut self-titled album in it’s entirety. The album produced huge hits ‘White Unicorn’, ‘Mind’s Eye’, ‘Joker and the Thief’, ‘Woman’ and ‘Dimension’ and continues to be one of Australia’s biggest rock albums of the early noughties. Another celebration comes from Cloud Control who are celebrating their 15 year anniversary, and ‘Shooting Star’ viral melody makers Bag Raiders will be doing a live set.

The lineup further boasts pioneering rapper, singer and producer M.I.A who is bound to bring ‘Paper Planes’ down under, along with The Presets, Skeam & Benga, Genesis Owusu, The Jungle Giants, Vacations, Teenage Joans, Divebar Youth, Sunsick Daisy, Oscar The Wild and Any Young Mechanic.

Sunday 26 October

Looking at Sunday 26 October, day two of Harvest Rocks is an eclectic mix of upbeat bodies.

Headlining the day is American rapper Jelly Roll, who is making his debut down under. The Grammy nominated, platinum certified, singer songwriter will stop in alongside his selling-out national tour.

Jelly Roll heads Aussie indie rock favourites Royel Otis, a dive into the EDM and trance explosion as reimaged by an orchestra with Ministry of Sound Classical, a giant DJ set from ‘Superstylin” groovers, Groove Armada for a DJ set, Shaboozey and PNAU.

The lineup is packed out with additional beat makers Sneaky Sound System who are set to explore their popping catalogue including hits ‘Pictures’, ‘UFO’, ‘I Will Be Here’, ‘I Love It’, ‘We Belong’ and ‘Kansas City’.

Lauren Spencer Smith, Ruel, The Dreggs, Drew Baldridge, Julia Cole, Folk Bitch Trio, Mild Minds, Anna Lunoe, Velvet Trip, Towns, Coldwave, Colter and Apollo finish off the Sunday offering.

This wine country backdropped festival is set to be gigantic! Presale is now open for sign up, with tickets going live on 19 August. General public sale starts 20 August. Tickets will be hot demand for this absolutely colossal offering.
