Geelong Beer Festival is a proud supporter of Australian live music, offering a dynamic platform for artists at every stage of their careers, from grassroots performers to headline acts. The festival creates opportunities for local musicians to showcase their talent, connecting them with an enthusiastic crowd and helping them grow their fanbase. Simultaneously, Geelong Beer Festival celebrates some of Australia’s most well-known acts, bringing headliners that draw in music lovers from across the region. This blend of emerging and established talent not only entertains but also strengthens the festival’s role as a key supporter of Australia’s live music scene, promoting creativity and community through every performance.
This years blend of local meets legends includes a belting headline set from Australian indie rockers British India, some acoustic stylings from Felipe Baldomir and Jordy Maxwell, and two local singer songwriters, Hassall and Rhianna Fibbins. Hassall is a mainstay of the Geelong music scene who knows a thing or two about activating unconventional spaces for gigs. Her single launch last year saw her take over a bowling alley! Known for her signature red hat and booming vocal performances, Hassall is a wonderful addition to the lineup. Rhianna Fibbins has been making her way around the local circuits of late as a new solo project. Having had a wildly successful career with her sister in The Sideshow Brides, Fibbins has played on stages with some of the worlds most illustrious artists including Dallas Crane, Cold Chisel, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tim Rogers, Tex Perkins and Matt Walker.
