The tour celebrates the release of Corby’s fourth studio album, Tragic Magic, out Friday 17 April via Island Records. A deeply personal and soul-soaked collection, the record marks a new chapter in Corby’s life and artistry. Early singles such as ‘Burn It Down’, ‘Long and Short’ and ‘War To Love’ showcase his refined sound, with Corby co-producing every track and performing the majority of instruments.

Praised for his intimate and electrifying performances, Corby’s shows are a masterclass in musicianship, where intricate arrangements and his unmistakable voice take centre stage. Audiences can expect a set that spans his career, from the 10x Platinum breakthrough hit ‘Brother’ to the reflective intensity of tracks such as ‘Resolution’, ‘Miracle Love’ and ‘Reelin’’, and selections from albums Telluric (2016), Rainbow Valley (2018) and Everything’s Fine (2023).

Joining Corby on tour is special guest Gretta Ray, whose career has continued to ascend since her triple j Unearthed High win. Ray has toured with Maisie Peters, Mumford & Sons and Gang of Youths, and her 2023 album Positive Spin further cemented her reputation as one of Australia’s most compelling pop voices.

Matt Corby remains one of Australia’s most enduring and influential artists. His voice, songwriting and artistry continue to evolve, delivering performances that are both intimate and powerful. The Tragic Magic Tour promises an unforgettable experience for fans old and new.
