Keep connected to your live music scene here.

Bar Choir takes over the Bridge Road venue on Thursday 19 March. Singing the Olivia Dean track with full diaphragm, the glorious vocal performance will spill out into the ocean breeze from out in the Beer Garden, with voices old and young welcome to chime in. With singing starting at 8pm sharp (in punctuality not tone), the 3.04 minute song is expected to be a lively and joyous song for choir goers. Plus, there’s already built in harmonies, allowing you to pick your part!

The best part is that it’s a donation for entry, with proceeds going directly to charity. So why not take your singing skills from the shower to the pub for this great initiative whilst singing one of the best songs of 2025. Get in early and join the Steak Night special for dinner, and then be part of the show.

The event follows on from the incredibly successful Bar Choir Christmas Spectacular which saw 10 non-traditional Christmas songs get the choir treatment, and is now an ongoing calendar event for the live music venue. In fact, the gigs are really ramping up at Barwon Heads Hotel, with a second show added to see Australian rock royalty Jet on their The Rumblin’ Regional Revue. In comedy, Jimeoin has just been announced as appearing at the venue on Saturday 16 May for a night of unfiltered laughs.

Full ticketing information for Barwon Heads Hotel gigs can be found here.

You won’t need to pre-purchase tickets to the Bar Choir though – just turn up with your vocals warm and come be the voice Barwon Heads Hotel needs.
