Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls and Bowling For Soup team up for massive ‘Bowl My Bones’ Australian tour in 2026

Folk-punk meets pop-punk chaos as two heavyweights unite for an unmissable May run across Australia.

Kicking off on Friday 1 May on the Sunshine Coast, the Bowl My Bones tour will crash through Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Frankston and Adelaide, before wrapping things up on Monday 11 May in Fremantle — and yes, it’s going to be rowdy.

Bowling For Soup need no introduction — but they’ll happily give you one anyway, probably via a joke and a power-pop riff. Self-declared as the “9th greatest pop punk band in history,” the Texans have spent more than 30 years cementing themselves as genre legends. Since roaring out of Wichita Falls in 1994, they’ve notched eleven studio albums, Gold and Silver records, and countless soundtrack appearances (including that iconic Disney Channel theme song). Their live shows? High-octane, goofy, nostalgic and always dangerously fun.

Still riding the high of celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2004 classic A Hangover You Don’t Deserve, BFS are about to headline Wembley Arena, drop a new live acoustic album (Stoked On Trent), and somehow still find time to return to Australia after their wildly praised sets at Good Things Festival in 2024. As Wall Of Sound put it after their Melbourne sideshow:
“What’s not to love on a night out with the utterly personable and glee-inducing Bowling For Soup?”

Sharing the spotlight is none other than the unstoppable Frank Turner, backed by his longtime band The Sleeping Souls. Since stepping out from post-hardcore outfit Million Dead in the mid-2000s, Turner has become one of the most prolific and beloved live performers on the planet. We’re talking over 3000 shows, ten solo studio albums, millions of album sales, a #1 record with 2022’s FTHC, a “50 states in 50 days” US tour, appearances across every UK venue imaginable, and even a performance at the 2012 London Olympics Opening Ceremony.

His latest album, Undefeated (2024), shows Turner at his sharpest — emotionally layered, lyrically explosive, and blending punk, folk and rock with the kind of heart-thumping urgency he’s famous for. Turner also continues to throw his energy behind grassroots venues and his own award-winning four-day festival, Lost Evenings. As Everblack Media declared after his Bluesfest 2023 set:
“Departing such an amazing set is damn hard. If you’re a fan, you know. If you weren’t before, you are now.”

Now, Australia gets both juggernauts on the same bill. One stage. One tour. Endless good vibes.

This is the co-headline collision you didn’t know you needed — and absolutely don’t want to miss.

Pre-sale kicks off Wednesday 19 November at 10am local time with registration available here, and general sale starts on Friday 21 November at 10am local time. All ticketing and information can be found here
