Foo Fighters Announce 2026–2027 Australia & New Zealand Stadium Tour

Following their one-off show in Tasmania, the band have confirmed a return to the rest of the country!

Foo Fighters are set to return to Australia and New Zealand in late 2026 and early 2027 for their “Take Cover” Stadium Tour, presented by Frontier Touring. This eagerly awaited tour will see the legendary rock band perform in major stadiums across Australia, including Brisbane, Townsville, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, and Adelaide, before heading to New Zealand for shows in Christchurch and Auckland in January 2027.

Following their recent historic performance in Tasmania, which marked the largest concert ever held in the state, the band continues to demonstrate their commitment to their Australian and New Zealand fans. Frontman Dave Grohl had previously promised a return before his birthday in January, and with two new regional cities added to the itinerary—Townsville and Newcastle—Foo Fighters’ connection to their audience down under is stronger than ever. The band have previously played in Geelong as part of the reactivation of the live music scene post-pandemic. In Christchurch, the band will perform at the newly built One New Zealand Stadium, further elevating what is sure to be a night to remember.

The Foo Fighters have also handpicked an incredible lineup of 16 rising Australian and New Zealand acts to join them on tour. From Brisbane to Perth, fans can expect to discover new local talent before the band takes the stage. Support acts include Full Flower Moon Band, Mini Skirt, The Belair Lip Bombs, TEENS, and many more, with each city hosting a different combination of artists.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Wednesday, 25 February, with presale access available to Telstra Plus members and Spark customers from 20 February. Frontier Members can also gain early access starting 23 February. With Foo Fighters’ immense popularity and a reputation for unforgettable live performances, demand is expected to be high, so fans are urged to act quickly to secure their spot.

Foo Fighters have sold over 1.8 million records in Australia alone, with nine #1 albums to their name, making them one of the biggest rock bands in the region. Frontier Members will also be granted early access from Monday, 23 February.

General sales will open on Wednesday, 25 February, with tickets available across the band’s Australian and New Zealand shows.
