Following the feel-good frenzy of last year’s Breakfast Tour, where he played over 60 shows in cafes across Australia and Europe (and may have caused a few café seating crises in the process), Bobby is back with 42 more free morning gigs across NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, TAS, and WA.
Yep – coffee, croissants, and cruisey tunes all before 10am? Count us in.
And if that’s not enough, he’s also slipping into something a little more intimate with a nine-date ‘My Style’ evening tour, celebrating 10 years of his much-loved track “My Style”. Expect the full Bobby Alu experience: layered grooves, smooth vocals, and a vibe that makes you want to ditch your shoes and move to an island.
The Breakfast Tour flipped the usual touring format on its head last year – and people loved it. With a cheeky milk sponsor in tow and fans spilling out into laneways and car parks, many cafes reported record-breaking mornings. Not to mention, it helped launch Bobby’s album Keep It Tropical to #1 on AIR’s Independent Label Albums chart and #3 on the ARIA Australian Albums chart. Talk about caffeinated success.
This year, he’s teaming up once again with Breakfast Shirts (aka Mark Crotti), the brekky influencer-turned-tourmate who brought his signature sunshine to last year’s adventure. Expect daily content, behind-the-scenes snaps, and all the brekky chaos fans came to love.
From piccolo pit stops to margarita moments, Bobby’s double tour is more than a gig – it’s a lifestyle. Whether you’re vibing in a cosy café at sunrise or clinking glasses in a small venue at sunset, you’re in for a truly personal musical moment.
So before Bobby jets off again to charm North America and Europe later in 2025, catch him on home soil – where he does what he does best: playing tunes in places that feel like home.
