Ben Howard’s musical journey is one that has resonated globally since his triple platinum debut album, “Every Kingdom,” back in 2011. Whether it’s the acoustic melodies or the experimental pop soundscapes, Howard has carved a niche that is uniquely his own. His fifth studio album, “Is It?” released in June 2023, is a testament to his evolution as an artist, with textured and experimental pop songs that showcase a new sonic dimension.
Recorded over 10 days in the Le Manoir de Léon studios, nestled between Bordeaux and Biarritz in the South of France, “Is It?” captures Howard in a moment of intense creativity. Produced by Bullion, the album promises a lush and sonically splintered experience, reflecting some of Howard’s most upbeat and uplifting work in years.
Described by The Times as “spellbinding, transcendental even,” Ben Howard’s live show is where the magic truly unfolds. Accompanied by his expansive band, Howard’s intense performances have been known to captivate and mesmerise audiences. His ability to operate in and out of the shadows creates a rare and vital proposition, making his upcoming Australian tour in May 2024 an unmissable event.
