Co-produced by the renowned GRAMMY-nominated Brad Cook (known for his work with Bon Iver, Waxahatchee, and Kevin Morby), McMahon’s latest musical offering dives deep into themes of resilience and renewal. It’s a sonic journey born from turbulent times, offering a mix of hope, joy, and relief – evident in the early singles ‘Letting Go’, ‘Saturn Returning’, and ‘Exploding’.
McMahon’s dynamic stage presence has earned her nominations aplenty, and she’s no stranger to sharing the spotlight with international acts like Hozier and Mumford and Sons. Ahead of her AU/NZ tour, McMahon will be hitting the USA for more tour dates in March, followed by a sold-out run in the UK and Europe.
Reflecting on Light, Dark, Light Again, McMahon shares, “It finds that the only certainty in life is that everything ends, and everything begins again – that there is life and death and life again, that there is light and dark and light again.”
Joining McMahon on her Australian leg will be special guest Annie-Rose Maloney, while in New Zealand, she’ll be supported by Kee’ahn.
This tour is not one to miss. It’s a chance to witness Angie McMahon’s remarkable musical journey firsthand – an experience that promises to be unforgettable, showcasing her evolution into a bolder, bigger, and brighter sonic landscape.
