Craig Williams, better known for his artistic moniker of Acoustic Foxx, dives into the tumultuous world of grief on his latest music offering.

‘A Little Time’ is a deeply personal song dedicated to Williams’ late grandmother Ivy, who sadly passed away in 2023.

In what Williams’ brands as “a song very close to his heart”, ‘A Little Time’ sees the songwriter unpack and reflect on his own grief through recalling memories, pondering the world of ‘what ifs’, wishing for more time and simply taking a step back to pause and be. Across ‘A Little Time’, Williams’ tethers the line of bargaining and acceptance in the five stages of grief, analysing past decisions and wishing for more time.

The single crescendos with the bleak realisation that loss is inevitable and, though everything seems at a standstill in that moment, “the world will keep on turning”.

The new single keeps in line with Acoustic Foxx’s nurtured sound. Having taken up guitar at the ripe age of 12 years old, Williams’ worked his way through the stylings of John Farnham to The Beatles, tapping into a heavier sound throughout the years of angst, landing on the current Acoustic Foxx fusion where delicate acoustic waves wind their way through the raw rhymes of 90’s rock.

‘A Little Time’ is Acoustic Foxx’s first single since 2022’s soft rock remedy, ‘Glimmer’, and is a welcome return for the beloved songwriter.

It drops on Wednesday 6 August on Spotify and Soundcloud. You can presave it here.
