Matt Corby joins Victorian Vibes for Bendigo leg

The free pop-up concert series continues this weekend

Goldfields are gearing up for their leg of ALWAYS LIVE Victorian Vibes this weekend on Saturday 30 May as excitement sets in across the city of Bendigo, but now they have even more reason to scream.

One of the biggest voices in Australian music joins the event, as Matt Corby is announced as the headliner.

Following on for The Traralgon stop featuring Boy & Bear alongside the soulful JACOTÉNE, the effervescent Belair Lip Bombs, and local favourite Dane Nicholls, Victorian Vibes continues their winning artist streak. Matt Corby, while starting on Australian Idol, has carved out his name as one of Australia’s finest songwriters and performers. Tracks like ‘Brother’, ‘Resolution’ and ‘Miracle Love’ cut through to the core whilst the more ambient ‘Talk It Out’ and the soulful ‘Maker’ mark Corby’s diversity.

Corby will be joined by rock legends King Stingray and alt-pop-rock Queenie, along with local talent Emma Gleeson, continuing the formats impressive roster of talent.

“Every stop in the Victorian Vibes series has its own personality,” said ALWAYS LIVE CEO Psyche Payne. “The audiences bring the energy, the artists bring the goods, and Traralgon was the perfect host for another joyful day of live music and discovery.”
