Hot on the heels of announcing their second album, I Thought The Altitude Would Make It Worth The View, Perth four-piece DICE unveil an extensive national tour in support of the release. Kicking off in Adelaide this August, the journey winds through capital cities and regional strongholds, culminating back home in Perth come September. The tour also includes a stop in to Torquay Hotel on Friday 4 September.
In a world where young people are often said to have lost the art of communication, DICE exists as a rejoinder. Comprised of Ben Hodge, Tom King, Regan Beazley, and Sam Barrett-Lennard, the band crafts music for authentic connection—songs that compel movement, spark feeling, and insist on presence. Their tracks urge listeners to run barefoot, fall in love, dance in the kitchen, leap into rivers, or simply lie on the grass and exist.
Since the 2024 release of their ARIA-charting debut, Midnight Zoo, DICE has evolved from Perth indie darlings into a global export. The WINGS EP and a relentless 2025 World Tour cemented their reputation as one of the most exhilarating live acts of the era, taking their unfiltered energy to sold-out venues in London, New York, Toronto, Bristol, Denver, Amsterdam, and Sydney. With a three-year streak on triple j’s Most Played Artists list, their philosophy remains unshakably simple: life’s too short to hold back.
Now, DICE steps into 2026 with the euphoric single COOLER, recorded at the legendary EastWest Studios in Los Angeles with Grammy-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (The Strokes, The White Stripes). A luminous evolution of their sound, the track balances garage-rock grit with sophisticated pop-rock polish, enriched by Jay Watson’s (POND, Tame Impala, GUM) signature melodic textures. It is a high-fidelity portal to fleeting moments of freedom, adventure, and possibility.
DICE continues to soundtrack the experiences you’ll yearn for before they’ve even happened. With COOLER and their upcoming album, the band charts their most ambitious chapter yet—a year of milestones, reinvention, and unrestrained sonic exploration.
Tickets go on sale Thursday 28 May, 10AM local. Sign up for presale here.
