After decades since Australian Crawl’s final bow in 1986, James Reyne brings The Fall of the Crawl to the Bellarine Estate in 2026, a rescheduled performance that was due to take place last month. Reyne, legendary frontman of Crawl, revisits the band’s iconic catalogue, weaving tales of youth, triumph, and nostalgia, accompanied by special guests Boom Crash Opera and Nick Barke. Against the estate’s breathtaking backdrop, the evening promises a vibrant celebration of music that shaped a generation, blending reverence with revelry. It’s GRAMMY goodness amongst the grapes! Going back to back with Reyne, 18 April will see the Bellarine Peninsula will hum with blues, soul and coastal charm as Bellarine Estate launches its inaugural 100 Acres Festival. A full day of music, wine and hospitality, the festival is headlined by seven-time Grammy® nominee Eric Bibb, performing with his full band on the Australian leg of his world tour celebrating One Mississippi—arguably his most accomplished album to date. This marks Bibb’s first full-band return to Australia since 2023, promising an unforgettable evening of world-class blues.
Joining him are some of Australia’s finest blues talents: Lloyd Spiegel, a 14-time Australian Blues Award winner celebrated for his storytelling and guitar virtuosity; Phil Para, the genre-defying guitarist delivering originals in trio form; and rising star Kathleen Halloran, whose fiery guitar work and candid songwriting have captured national attention. Melbourne soul sensations The Meltdown will bring southern soul grooves to the Peninsula, rounding out a line-up steeped in rhythm and heart.
Between performances, 3RRR’s Max Crawdaddy will spin blues classics from across the globe, keeping the energy alive. With local wines flowing, gourmet food trucks, and a family-friendly atmosphere, 100 Acres Festival promises a sensory celebration of music, community, and the region’s signature coastal beauty—a day to sip, savour and soak in unforgettable sounds.
They’re two stellar entries for Bellarine Estate’s April calendar.
