There's some big names heading our way this week!

Decembers favourite festivals are back for another epic year. From heavyweight metal acts to ground-breaking hip hop artists, indie giants to genre-pioneers, this month has it all!

Good Things

Australia’s loudest and heaviest touring festival returns to Flemington Racecourse for a 90’s led livewire event. In an Australian exclusive, prog-metal maestros TOOL headline 2025, joined by alternative rock trailblazers Weezer, and 90’s rock staples, the Shirley Manson spearheaded, Garbage. The lineup also boasts All Time Low, The All-American Rejects, Machine Head, Knocked Loose, Lorna Shore, Refused, New Found Glory, Make Them Suffer, Dayseeker, and so many more.

Meredith Music Festival

Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre lights up again as Meredith Music Festival enters its 33rd year. The beloved three-day community festival shares an eclectic mix of global shakers and makers, this year leading the charge with Brooklyn rockers TV On The Radio. The artist offering boasts Japanese trailblazers Atarashii Gakko!, indie gamechanger, Perfume Genius, ‘Talk Is Cheap’ musician Chet Faker, along with Pa Salieu, HAAi, Bar Italia, Mildlife, Folk Bitch Trio, Colin Hay, Saya Gray, RONA, and more.

When: 5, 6 & 7 December

Spilt Milk

Ballarat’s beloved Spilt Milk returns for 2025 with a lineup overflowing with some of the most talked about local and global artists from recent times. With bill-toppers Kendrick Lamar, Doechii, Sara Landry, Dominic Fike and ScHoolboy Q, alongside the likes of d4vd, Nessa Barrett, Sofia Isella, Skin On Skin, sombr, Club Angel, The Rions, South Summit and more, Spilt Milk continues their streak as one of Australia’s freshest festivals.

When: Saturday 6 December

Folk Rhythm & Life Festival

The Festival of Folk, Rhythm and Life has evolved over the past 20 years into what many, who know about it, would call “the best little festival around”. Heading into another year, Folk Rhythm & Life Festival proudly presents Andrew McSweeny, Dallas Frasca, Badcock Brothers, Bel Kil, Brolga, Charlie Needs Braces, Kutcha Edwards, Sarah Carrol, Fenn Wilson, Pollyman, The Rayes, Tuck Shop Ladies and more.

Beyond The Valley

Beyond The Valley’s 10th birthday will proudly host an expansive, genre-rich collection of talent complete with global icons, rising tastemakers and underground innovators. This sold-out event brings out a stellar lineup of music talent with a quadruple threat of headliners including Addison Rae, Turnstile, Dom Dolla, and Kid Cudi. You also have Spacey Jane, I Hate Models, KETTAMA, The Temper Trap, JoJo, Young Franco, Mallrat, and TEED. That’s not even scratching the surface!

Tanglewood Music and Arts Festival

Tanglewood is a family friendly boutique music and arts festival held 2 hours North East from Melbourne in Thornton, Lake Eildon over New Years Eve. This year, their music offering is off the charts with over 150 hours of local artists found in your own backyards, live acoustic, bands & electronic producers, of a wide range of musical styles. Arjuna, Grouch, Gyrl and other goodies are on the list to take you into 2026.
