The surf rock heavy lineup will head out to iconic beaches on the tour. Kicking off at Canberra’s Exhibition Park on Saturday 7 March, SummerSalt will then head to Torquay Common on Sunday 8 March, followed by Speers Point Park in Lake Macquarie on Saturday 14 March, Sunshine Coast Stadium on Sunday 15 March, before wrapping up the tour on the sand at Glenelg Beach in Adelaide on Saturday 21 March.
It all plays into SummerSalt’s shining festival legacy, one that brings feel-good sounds to stunning outdoor destinations, all with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere that’s perfect for making memories. Bask in the sunshine, soak up the live music, and enjoy a vibrant, sun-drenched setting filled with good vibes as you dance the day (and night) away. Following on from a wildly successful run with The Wombats in September, Ocean Alley will be a stellar show.
Ocean Alley have truly emerged as one of Australia’s most successful musical exports. Across four albums, including 2022’s critically acclaimed Low Altitude Living, the six-piece – Baden Donegal (vocals), Angus Goodwin (guitar), Lach Galbraith (keys/vocals), Mitch Galbraith (guitar), Tom O’Brien (drums) and Nic Blom (bass) – have inspired audiences around the world with their unmistakable sound. With chart success across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and USA, and nine accredited singles of Gold or higher, Ocean Alley are entering a bold new chapter – and with stadium-sized ambition in sight, they’re poised to leave an enduring mark on the music landscape for many years to come.
AUS Coastal 2026 follows a huge run of shows for Ocean Alley’s Love Balloon Australian Tour 2026, which will see the band take on their biggest Australian headline shows to date, taking place over January in support of their upcoming fifth album Love Balloon.
These shows mark a bold new chapter for Ocean Alley – a chance to see a band at the height of their powers, bringing their most vibrant and confident work to outdoor stages around the country. They’re in good company with local friends Skegss who constantly bring out the sun through their tunes and live shows, Los Angeles’ rock mainstays Allah-Las, sun-soaked Australian psych rockers Babe Rainbow, Melbourne’s hard working rockers The Grogans, indie-rock sweethearts Mid Drift, LA house party heroes, Le Shiv, and finally, indie-rock stayers, SEASIDE.
