The coastal clubhouse continues their run of world-class music programming.

Following on from a grand September, premier surf coast venue, Torquay Hotel have some bragging rights for October.

It’s an eclectic mix of artistry this month, from a country king to a cultural mainstay, a hip hop hero and a Tasman tie-in. The assortment appeals to all types of live music lover.

Jackson Dean

When: Wednesday 8 October

US country star, Jackson Dean makes his anticipated return, bringing the On The Back Of My Dreams World Tour to Australia and New Zealand this October with a stop into the surf coast. His 2023 debut tour saw sold out events across the nation, followed by a huge set at CMC Rocks in 2024, and this time is no different. Limited tickets remain to catch the country giant in action.

Ben Lee

When: Friday 10 October

The Awake Is The New Sleep celebration is staring at Torquay, ready for big singalongs with Ben Lee. The Australian songwriter and cultural tastemaker (and side shit-stirrer) is on his 20 year anniversary tour since dropping diseases across the country. This one is selling fast!

Illy

When: Friday 17 October

Following Illy’s Good Life, his 3rd ARIA #1 Australian album, and the huge capital city tour of the same name, comes “The Good-er Life Tour” – it’s a mammoth, 27 date party around Australia. With an explosive live show, a litany of certified classics, and an album of new hits, Illy and the band are bringing high octane energy to stages country wide this August to November and Torquay gets a see-in! NO CIGAR

When: Friday 31 October

Our cross Tasman mates are coming out for the first time. NO CIGAR have explode this year thanks to their third studio album Under the Surface. The blistering beats and sonic swells of NO CIGAR are cruisy like the coast, making them a perfect fit for the Torquay Hotel. Though it’s Halloween, this won’t be a spooky set to slip into.
