River Rocks returns with local rock royalty Magic Dirt headlining

The annual Barwon Club calendar classic is sure to be a riot this year!

Tunnelling in for a huge seventeenth year, Geelong’s house of rock and roll, the Barwon Club Hotel goes giant with their annual festival of hard rock. River Rocks makes an epic return to Moorabool Street live music venue on Saturday 15 November with one hell of a stacked lineup of local meat and international music-makers.

The River Rocks, B. Bookings and Bad Batch Zine co-presented event sees heavily celebrated local legends and Australian rock superstars Magic Dirt leading the charge. They are joined by US hard-hitters Zeke, and Australian-Spanish outfit Asteroid B-612, along with a long list of heavy tastemakers.

Renowned as a riot fest, River Rocks is a full venue takeover chocked with back to back sets from the hardest players in the rock scene.

Jumping up for a wild ride are rhinestone wearers Jenny Don’t and the Spurs (USA), adding the BC to their already full national tour at the years end which also sees them take to the stage at Town Folk Festival. Having made their debut down under only last year, Japanese trailblazers The Fadaways make their return to regional Victoria for River Rocks. Their explosive sets have made them a name in the live music rink and are a favourite for the event. Evil Dick Industries is a wildcard watch on the list, known for their high octane energy, and we get a taste of German rock with Slander Tongue flying out for the occasion.

Adding to the thriving talent pool of River Rocks is Sun God Replica, Emu, Blower, Leatherman, The Maggie Pills, Public House, W.O.M.B.A.T, Juliette Seizure & The Tremor-Dolls, Scarnon and TTTDC.

River Rocks is a cult community event that is a favourite on the Geelong live music calendar every year.
