Australia’s biggest live songwriting comp is back with $45K in prizes

Aspiring and established songwriters across the country still have time to throw their hat in the ring for The Songwriting Prize

Run by award-winning mental health music charity Listen Up Music, The Songwriting Prize is Australia’s largest live performance songwriting competition, and this year, there’s a massive $45,000 in prizes up for grabs.

Open to artists from all walks of life, the competition focuses on originality, musicality and the power of performance. Finalists will get the rare opportunity to perform their songs live in front of a panel of respected industry judges and a room full of music lovers.
