Applications open for Meadow’s local artists competition

And they've expanded the prize pool!

With the final Meadow closing in on us for their final instalment in March, the beloved Bambra music festival has today announced the return and expansion of their local artist competition.

Taking over partner venue The Retreat Creek Hotel, Meadow in partnership with Festivals Australia (Australian Government) and Forte Magazine will be curating a second stage, giving not one, but ten local artists the chance to join the official Meadow lineup.

The Meadow local artist competition applications are now open to bands and artists who think they would be a smashing opener for the Meadow festivities joining huge acts Hiatus Kaiyote, Pond, MJ Lenderman, Floodlights and more. The competition is open to emerging bands, however preference will be given to artists from the Geelong, Surf Coast and Otway region.
