
Multi-GRAMMY Award-winning, diamond-selling San Francisco band Train are steaming into Australia and New Zealand in 2025, playing shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland.
Having already stopped at nearly 50 US cities on their epic summer journey, Train hit down in Australia on Sunday 18 May, playing their first shows in the country in eight years.

Since forming in 1994, Train have built a dedicated fan following in Australia across three decades. Dropping into the charts with their double-GRAMMY-winning breakout song ‘Drops of Jupiter’ they went 12 x platinum certified on the ARIA charts, mapping out a road of hits to follow. ‘Drive By’ and ‘Play That Song’ both became ARIA 2x platinum certified tracks and ‘Hey, Soul Sister’ broke records as a chart-topper, receiving 15 x platinum certified recognition on the ARIA charts and hitting number one. It became the most downloaded single of the 2010’s, achieved RIAA Diamond status in 2021 and surpassed one billion streams on Spotify the next year. With the respective album Save Me, San Francisco celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, the track is continuing to blow up.
Throughout their career Train has had 14 songs on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, 13 albums on the Billboard 200 albums chart, and has sold more than 10 million albums and 30 million tracks worldwide.
Joining Train on the road as direct support on all dates is Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall, best known for her 2004 multi-platinum debut, Eye to the Telescope, which spawned the hit ‘Black Horse and the Cherry Tree’ and the world-wide smash ‘Suddenly I See’. Jason Wade of Lifehouse, will also join as support on the tour, performing the band’s biggest tracks including ‘Hanging By A Moment’, ‘You and Me’, ‘Whatever It Takes’, and more.
