King Parrot have earned the reputation as one of Australia’s most ferocious and chaotic live metal acts, having created a sound and identity uniquely their own through years of punishing the road on countless tours both here and abroad. Combining elements of grind core, death and thrash metal and hardcore punk, the sound is infused with their own distinctive and unmistakable approach. Fresh out of the studio after completing work on their brand new studio album, the band are ready to hit the road and showcase their wares.
With multiple ARIA nominations and appearances on stages all over the world alongside acts like Pantera, Obituary, Exodus, Lamb of God and Soulfly, the boys from Melbourne are no strangers to the big stage. Receiving a rousing reception at Knotfest Australia earlier in the year, the homegrown Aussie grind juggernaut are firing on all cylinders and chomping at the bit to deliver a rabid headline show seasoned with new material.

They are the perfect pairing for North Carolina sludge-toned tar-heeled Weedeater. Needing no introduction to anyone who dabbles in the arts of stoner, sludge and doom metal, Weedeater are a reckoning. Their last voyage to the land down under was back in 2016, and they’ve been hankering to return ever since. With a back catalogue boasting such classics as God Luck and Good Speed, Jason… The Dragon and Goliathan, these albums play like hymnals on a Sunday morning to the stoner doom elite. Australian fans should prepare for a gargantuan onslaught of titanic riffs as Weedeater chase the dragon all over Australia with their long-time touring partners King Parrot; North America and Europe have had plenty of this devastating duo in the past, now it’s Australia’s turn!
Presale will be held for each individual show as run by the venues (see above) and general public tickets will be on sale from Friday 2 August at 9am here.
