There’s a clubbing night dedicated to the 30+ year olds of Geelong happening this weekend

Lambys have done it again, honouring their punters of yesterdayyear with a nostalgic night of noughties hits and an early night.

Labour Day showed that Geelong’s finest nightlife institution still has strong party power with their long weekend of drinks specials and a special DJ feature from JEZZ, but now it’s time for the former Lambys lovers to descend down the steps of the club, albeit this time not in 12 inch chunky heels and pleather leggings.

That’s right, Lambys are giving the 30 + year olds a chance to return to the dancefloor, and return home for a solid eight hours of beauty sleep with their Bed by 10PM event. Happening this Saturday 21 March at the Brougham Street mainstay, Bed By 10pm is a touring event that revives the dancefloor hits of the 80’s, nineties, and noughties. Get ready for the tunes that demand you put your hands in the air and the belters that leave you breathless but soundtracked your prime dancefloor days (we’re talking Rihanna’s ‘Only Girl In The World’, the David Guetta beats of ‘Memories’ and ‘Titanium’, the anthems of ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Stacey’s Mum’, ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’, and even a bit of disco drama with ABBA.)

The concept allows you to come in early from 4pm and wrap up by 9pm, with last entry by 6pm so you have a chance to go home, do a full skincare routine and hit the hay before 10pm. But it’s not just about the music and dancefloor antics. Bed By 10pm brings the vibrancy of nightlife that you remember – crazy visual effects, confetti showers, and co2 cannons in addition to the resident DJ’s.

While the event is targeted at the 30+ crowd, they aren’t discriminating. If you’re 25 + and think this is your kind of night out, you too are welcome to join the fun.

It’s another standout event for Lambys, who have this week also revealed their Easter Long Weekend event, running from 2 – 5 April. There is a throwback Thursday, returning you to the 00’s and 90’s with the favourite special of 2 for 1 Mario Karts, followed by a Good Friday session that goes old school RnB, featuring 2 for $20 Margaritas and $8 Tequila Shots, and then Easter Saturday packs a punch with Harry J hitting the decks with mashups, house and party tracks to keep the vibes rolling. As always Happy Hour from 9pm – 10pm is giant with a bunch of drinks specials to keep you hydrated.
