Leading the culinary line-up is George Georgievski, affectionately known as The School Lunchbox Guy. George has turned the seemingly mundane task of preparing school lunches into a canvas for creativity, infusing everyday ingredients with playful imagination and nutritional balance. His approach transforms routine meals into memorable experiences, capturing the hearts of both children and adults alike. George’s talent has been recognised worldwide—he is the author of four bestselling books, including Lunchbox Express and Dinner Express, and was named Australia’s Number 1 author in 2021. His fifth book, Tonight’s Dinner, Tomorrow’s Lunchbox, will mark his international debut this August. George has also been crowned the ‘most inspiring lunch creator in the world’ by American Express magazine and brings with him a wealth of live television and festival experience. Sharing the stage with George at the Show will be his 13-year-old daughter Kiki, creating a dynamic duo that embodies both warmth and culinary ingenuity. Together, they will offer live demonstrations that promise to be as fun as they are instructive, inspiring families to reimagine their own kitchen routines.
Joining George is Liran Adika, the creative force behind Glazed Gluten Free, one of Melbourne’s most celebrated gluten-free patisseries. With extensive experience training under local and international culinary icons—including Shannon Bennett of Vue de Monde—Liran has developed a reputation for creating desserts that are as visually stunning as they are delectably satisfying. Glazed Gluten Free is not simply about indulgence; it is a thoughtful reimagining of pastries for a wide audience, accommodating dietary restrictions while elevating flavours and textures to an art form. Festival-goers can expect to witness the meticulous craftsmanship and innovative techniques that have earned Liran and his patisserie a devoted following.
These culinary stars join an already rich program, featuring interactive cooking demonstrations, wellness talks from leading nutritionists, and a vibrant market of gluten-free vendors offering everything from international cuisine to local delicacies. For families, there’s a dedicated kids’ zone, live music, and the chance to engage with the latest in gut-friendly products and lifestyle solutions.
