Spring into Kryal Castle this school holidays

As the days tick down until the end of term three, things are blooming over at the castle in Leigh Creek.

Are you after something a little different than your garden shows and field walks this Spring?

Ballarat medieval attraction, Kryal Castle has the perfect melting pot of lively programming to put a spring in your step these school holidays. Running Saturday 20 September until Sunday 5 October, their Spring special is fun-filled for the family.

Open daily from 10am until 4pm, the replica medieval castle will raise their portcullis, preparing from an onslaught of families. Within the walls of the castle, magic awaits.

Enter a burgher and leave a knight with enrolments open for Knight School. Sit at the Knights table, learn to battle, wander the Knights tower and witness ground combat displays. Develop your skills in axe throwing and archery, getting you ready for battle!

Join the arena and witness world-class jousting competitions. See a sword fight in the arena. Take a trip back into ye-old times with the sports and armour forging.

For a speckle of something spectacular, the fantastical world defies physics. Enter into a world of magic with potion making and spelling casting. Explore the Dragons den if you are brave, heading into the Dragon’s Labyrinth and the Dragons Garden. If you are especially quiet, you will find the fairy garden as well!

That’s not even to mentioned the animals, mazes and authentic medieval wares. There’s so much to experience at Kryal Castle! They’ll put a spell on you this spring!
