Here and Now Lounge is turning one with a massive celebration this weekend

Happy Birthday Here and Now Lounge!

It’s hard to believe that it’s only been one year since Ryrie Street entertainment hub and bar Here and Now Lounge opened their doors. But it’s true! One year of belting out karaoke classics, one year of live music, one year of comedy nights, one year of pop-up networking and mingling events, and one year of laughter and fun!

To mark the occasion, Here and Now Lounge are throwing an epic first birthday bash this Saturday 23 May in their Level 1, Ryrie Street venue.

Leaning into their already vibrant offering, the birthday celebration will be a culmination of all of the things that make Here and Now Lounge the place to be. There will be acoustic performances, comedy showcases, drag performances, unbelievable magic tricks, and of course plenty of karaoke for the courageous singers (and non-singers!). If stage fright is present, the karaoke booths are still available to be booked out for groups.

As always the permanent set-up of the 8-ball table is ready for some snookering skills and the bar will be slinging out cocktails and drinks, along with the charcuterie bar and late night snacks including jaffles.

Here and Now Lounge has become a staple to the Geelong nightlife scene for the most fun nights out and functions including Hens and Bucks parties. But it’s not gatekept to the 18+ community. The venue also offer daytime sessions for family outings. Here and Now Lounge leapt into the scene and is still just as exciting as the day it opened its door.

With free entry all night for the birthday bash, there’s no excuse not to join the party. Everyone is invited – old friends and new! Doors are from 7pm.
