A Fresh Flavour at The Geelong Club: Felix Joins as Dining Partner

It's a new chapter for the previously exclusive club.

Steeped in history yet always attuned to the present, The Geelong Club has long been a beacon of sophistication in the heart of the city. Since opening its doors in 1859 within a grand Queen Anne heritage building, the Club has offered a refined retreat for dining, meetings, and celebrating life’s milestones beneath high ceilings, stained-glass doors, and wood-panelled halls. Now, it’s stepping boldly into a new culinary era, welcoming the acclaimed Felix team as its official dining partner.

Launching on 29 April, the partnership kicks off with Friday lunch and dinner, along with Saturday evening service, signalling a fresh chapter in the Club’s storied hospitality. From the very first course, Members and Guests can expect a dining experience that marries contemporary flair with a deep respect for tradition. Felix, known across Geelong for its creativity, quality, and warmth, brings a reputation for culinary excellence that promises to elevate every meal and occasion.

Open to Members and the public, Felix offers a menu of indulgence and creativity. The Members Only Bar features oysters, BLT/MLT, tempura, the signature Felix Burger, and frites. In the dining room, expect oysters, caviar with potato cakes, seasonal mushrooms, fried mussels, charcuterie, braised leeks, market fish, duck confit, and steak frites—all served with a cos wedge salad. Desserts include honey panna cotta, vegan chocolate mousse, cheese plates, and a seasonal tart special.

The collaboration extends beyond regular service. All Club, Member, and Private Events will now be exclusively catered by the Felix team, ensuring every gathering—from intimate celebrations to grand affairs—carries the same hallmarks of sophistication and attention to detail. The Felix team’s flair for service and innovation aligns seamlessly with The Geelong Club’s ethos: timeless elegance meets modern expectation.

But this is just the beginning. From July, Members can anticipate an expanded suite of services and exclusive offerings, designed to further enrich their experience. The Club plans to introduce select offerings for Guests and the public, opening a window for the wider community to enjoy what has long been an inner-circle gem.
