Named after the owner’s family name, Mavromoustakos, meaning ‘black moustache’, Mavs combines traditional favourites with modern twists, creating a menu designed for sharing. Starters like tzatziki, tirokafteri, melitzanosalata, and taramosalata arrive with warm pita, while mezze platters bring together haloumi, keftedes, loukaniko and seafood selections such as chargrilled octopus, prawns, and calamari. It’s a true showcase of Greece on a plate.

The mains are equally tempting: slow-cooked lamb kleftiko, Mousakas tis Georgias, and pastitsio are hearty, comforting, and crafted from family recipes that have been perfected over generations. The grill menu is a carnivore’s dream with lamb, chicken, pork souvlaki, lamb cutlets, sheftalia, and mix grill platters, all served with lemon potatoes, tzatziki, and garden salads. Seafood lovers are equally spoilt, with options like saganaki seafood, chargrilled scallops, king prawns, and mix seafood platters, each bursting with freshness and Mediterranean flair.
