The Lambert Avenue location has transformed from a warehouse into a sanctuary of wellness.
Inspired by traditional bathhouses and communal wells, the space balances structure and warmth through a stepped form and robust framework softened by limewashed walls, travertine floors, dark walnut joinery, and brushed brass and copper accents. Intuitive circulation guides you seamlessly between movement and recovery zones, creating an atmosphere that is both calming and elevated before the wellness session even starts.

“At its core, Klae is about balance: between movement and stillness, light and shadow, strength and softness. The design of the space was guided by the intention to support not only physical wellbeing, but also emotional and social connection,” explains co-founder Jessica Murray.
Klae Wellness offers a fully integrated approach to wellbeing. Strength and conditioning, Reformer and Clinical Pilates, mobility, physiotherapy, remedial massage, and recovery therapies such as LED red light therapy and compression are all provided within the same ecosystem. Plans for a courtyard bathhouse with a sauna and cold plunge will further the communal inspiration of the studio.
“What makes Klae different is not just the offering itself, but the way it is integrated. Rather than requiring members to move between multiple providers or locations, everything exists within a single ecosystem,” Murray says.

The Klae concept was conceived in response to a gap in Geelong’s wellness landscape whilst integrating the expertise of its multiple founders. Murray and Nathan Crameri were drawn to recovery therapies and the notion of making day spa and bathhouse experiences accessible and integrated into everyday life. Tahlia Berg and Harry Smith approached wellness through movement, emphasising Pilates and holistic body function.
“These parallel conversations made it clear that Geelong lacked a central place where these interconnected services could exist together,” Murray says.
“Klae was born from that gap. A space where movement, recovery, and community are not separate practices, but part of a cohesive system, supported through a single, flexible membership that adapts to the way people actually live.”
Klae Wellness was created to bring these elements together under a single, cohesive philosophy, where movement, recovery, and community operate as interconnected practices rather than separate offerings. The studio’s guiding framework is expressed through three pillars: Sculpt, Restore, and Thrive. Sculpt develops strength and discipline, Restore provides the necessary stillness to sustain progress, and Thrive introduces an element of playfulness and vitality.
“Without Sculpt your movement lacks support. Without Restore your movement lacks sustainability. Without Thrive your movement lacks life,” she explains. These pillars inform programming and interactions within the space, ensuring wellness is approached as an ongoing process rather than a finite goal.
The expertise of the founding team underpins every aspect of Klae. Tahlia, a physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates instructor, oversees programming and mentorship. Nathan contributes his experience in community building from running a boxing gym. Harry manages systems and operations, creating a seamless infrastructure. Jessica’s architectural background guided the physical transformation of the warehouse and now informs the studio’s storytelling and events. The combination of these skills ensures a space that is functional, considered, and reflective of the founders’ vision.

“Klae is very much a reflection of our collective strengths.”
The function also filters into the flexible integration into members’ lives. Klae’s approach is designed to suit contemporary life. Wellness is often sidelined by demanding schedules, but the studio’s flexible membership and considered programming allow engagement to be consistent and sustainable.
“When wellness aligns with real schedules and real expectations, it becomes far more sustainable. People are more likely to engage consistently, rather than in short bursts. Over time, that consistency creates meaningful change,” Murray explains.
Klae Wellness is redefining what it means to prioritise wellbeing in Geelong. Here, movement, recovery, and community are integrated into a seamless experience, supported by a space that encourages presence and focus.
