James Franco Revamps Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?

The original 1996 cult classic was a hit among many vampire lovers, but James Franco has given the film a bit of a twist.

Revamping the Lifetime film for its channel, the new version stars Tori Spelling (who acted as the daughter in the original) as a mother whose lesbian daughter is dating a vampire. Things get weird, much vampire-drama ensues and even James Franco pops his head in for a few scenes. The film screens on Lifetime on June 18.
