Connor Morel returns to Geelong Arts Centre for his second original theatre piece Good Man. A gig-staged theatre show, Good Man explores the story of Morel meeting his estranged father for the first time at the pub where Morel’s band was playing a gig. Equal parts funny, touching, and transcendent, Good Man tackles what it means to be a “Good Man”.

Join the MSO for the Australian premiere of The Deciding Machine by Melody Eötvös. Composed in 2020, this work marks a dual tribute to the centenary of women’s suffrage and the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth. The title honours Ada Lovelace, the 19th-century visionary who wrote the world’s first computer algorithm and takes audiences through the works of Beethoven’s only Violin Concerto.

Let your hair down with this glittering tribute to Swedish greats, ABBA. Bjorn Again are one of the most celebrated tribute acts, tackling a catalogue that spans pop ballads, to disco and all in between. Roll from ‘Dancing Queen’ to ‘Gimme Gimme Gimme’, ‘Fernando’, ‘Mamma Mia’ all the way to ‘Thank You For The Music’ with this colourful performance.

Human Nature are far from their ‘Telling Everybody’ start. The four piece have grown into heroes of Motown, reviving the genre across a collection of songbooks. On their regional tour, they celebrate their 20th Anniversary of the album that changed their direction. Expect ‘Sign Your Name’, ‘Runaround Sue’, and a bit of ‘Baby I Need Your Loving’ to get you up!

A standout of the March calendar, Lighting the Dark is a Season 2026 spectacular for Geelong Arts Centre. This dance performance from Chris Dyke and supported by Dancenorth Ensemble take you into the notion of heroes and their everyday counterparts. Heightened by original compositions, this work is a must-see.

Masterful storyteller Darren Coggan dives into the songbook of James Taylor. This tribute show celebrates the music and story of one of country and folk’s greatest musicians, carrying you through songs like ‘How Sweet It Is to Be Loved by You’, ‘Country Road’, ‘Carolina in My Mind’, ‘Sweet Baby James’, ‘You’ve Got a Friend’, ‘Shower The People’, and the performance titled ‘Fire & Rain’.

Yes we will always love Dolly Parton and her rich songbook of ballads and empowerment belters. Brooke McMullen transforms into the country queen in both appearance and sound to take a tour through her career (spanning over 100 million records sold and 26 number one hits). There will be ‘9 to 5’, ‘I Will Always Love You’, ‘Coat of Many Colours’, and of course the powerful ‘Jolene’.

Go into the ‘what if’ of Juliet’s life if her love for Romeo didn’t end tragically. Geelong’s favourite theatre ensemble CentreStage take on the award-winning modern theatre piece set to pop hits like ‘…Baby One More Time’, ‘Roar’, ‘Since U Been Gone’, ‘It’s My Life’, ‘I Want It That Way’, and ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’.

The month caps with an APA Ensemble performance for Women of Troy. Women of Troy speaks as powerfully to us today as it did to its first audience 2,500 years ago, uncovering the story of Queen Hecuba and her daughter the prophet Cassandra, together with famed beauty Helen of Sparta, as they rise from the ashes of Troy to share the story of war’s collateral damage.
