The program, Living in Queerantine, will award 10 grants of $1,000 each to produce a work on a queer theme that can be showcased on Midsumma’s online platforms.

The first-place winner will receive a career-changing $50,000 furnished by APRA AMCOS, Alberts and BMG; while second-place will receive $10,000 courtesy of Banki Haddock Fiora, $5,000 courtesy Aon, and the $5,000 AMPAL Emerging Songwriter Prize awarded to an unpublished songwriter and furnished by the Australasian Music Publishers Association.
