The Shearer’s Arms gallery, which dated back to 1847, was acquired by the Society in 1987 and is now its base. It contains a large purpose built studio, four gallery display rooms, a well-equipped office and a kitchen. The building is the oldest surviving building in Geelong West and following an agenda from the Heritage Society is slowly being renovated.
