Twenty-five years into a career defined by swaggering riffs and arena-ready hooks, Jet remain as vital and exhilarating as ever. Following a five-year hiatus from touring, 2023 saw them return to stages nationwide to mark two decades since their debut album Get Born. That same year, the band’s enduring influence was cemented with induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame.
Momentum has carried steadily since, with 2025 bringing massive shows across the US and an acclaimed stint alongside Lenny Kravitz on his Blue Electric Light Tour. Rolling Stone hailed their performances, stating, “We immediately get what we need from the Melbourne rockers.”
From humble beginnings in Dingley, Melbourne, Jet exploded onto the global stage in 2001, their 2003 debut Get Born selling over 6.5 million copies worldwide and achieving near 10x Platinum status in Australia. Packed with era-defining singles like Are You Gonna Be My Girl, Rollover DJ, and Look What You’ve Done, the record earned the band six ARIA Awards and cemented their place on the international rock map.
Their 2006 follow-up, Shine On, showcased a band at ease with their swagger, delivering fan favourites such as Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, Bring It On Back and Rip It Up, and earned Platinum certification in Australia alongside acclaimed international tours.
After conquering audiences on Part 1 of the Rumblin’ Regional Revue, Jet return with the polish and fire of a band at the peak of their powers, ready to reclaim regional stages with a mix of classic hits and unrelenting rock energy.
Joining Jet across most shows are Sydney’s alt-rock upstarts, Liquid Zoo. Bursting onto the scene last year, the five-piece are a cocktail of swagger and grit, blending the charisma of The Rolling Stones with the sharp-edged cool of The Strokes. Tracks like Taste, Tell Me, and Can’t Afford It have already marked them as a band to watch.
On the Tasmanian leg, Hobart’s acid-psych blues-rock four-piece Spooky Eyes take the stage. With a pedigree that includes supporting Foo Fighters, Jack White, and Wolfmother, the quartet deliver electrifying psychedelic blues through tracks like Evil Eye and Harvest, leaving audiences raving long after the final chord fades.
Jet’s Rumblin’ Regional Revue Part 2 promises rock at full throttle—a celebration of a band that has kept its edge and grown only more exhilarating with time.
