“The Second Act Tour” is a unique venture, set to take Missy Higgins to theatres nationwide next autumn for a special two-act show. The first set each evening will showcase brand-new songs and fan favorites from her early career, performed in a stripped-back, acoustic style. After a brief intermission, Missy will return with her full band to deliver The Sound Of White in its entirety, along with some of her other chart-topping hits.
The Sound Of White, a seminal album in Australian music history, has sold over a million copies, earned six ARIA Awards, and features timeless classics like “Scar,” “Ten Days,” and “The Special Two.” The 20th-anniversary celebration includes a deluxe edition on CD and LP, boasting bonus live recordings of every song on the album and expanded artwork. Set to land on April 5, 2024, the deluxe edition will also introduce a new track, “Cry Me A River.”
Missy Higgins, who shot to fame after being discovered by triple j in 2002, has garnered an impressive 26 ARIA Award nominations. A prolific live performer, she played to over 200,000 Australians last summer, including massive gigs with Paul Kelly.
